1964 CADILLAC CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE 

 

This car features a 2009 Cadillac with a 1964 Cadillac body. The complete 2009 STS Cadillac unibody floor pan, which was stretched 13", was utilized, as well as the complete suspension, anti-lock disc brake system, independent rear suspension, MacPherson strut front suspension, rack & pinion steering, 4.6-liter 330hp Northstar engine and 4L60E transmission. Also, the dashboard, electric tilt/telescoping steering column, dual-climate-control, heated and cooled bucket seats, Bose stereo system with Sirius radio and GPS are all here. All diagnostic capabilities are still intact, and the car can be serviced at any Cadillac dealership or well-equipped independent garage. All parts are readily available, and today's mechanics can actually work on it. This car performs beautifully and drives just like a new Cadillac, but with classic style. No modifications were made to the computer, engine, or exhaust system (except the mufflers were deleted).
